As quick as a flash!
Say what now?
I could have sworn it was July just a second ago. I guess that’s what happens when you go on holiday to the coast on the 31st of July, have a crazy first day back at work on a Monday and wonder where on earth the time has gone.
I’ve written about time perception before and how it speeds up as you get older, it also speeds up as you start to take less notice of your surroundings. The start of the few days away seemed to stretch out long in front of me, minutes passed by slowly, hours even more so. Towards the end of the week, before I knew it, it was 4pm every single day.
Crazy.
I got a few board games played but not as many as I expected, I don’t think we’ll be anywhere near the total play count for July in August as there’s a very busy month ahead.
Considering by the end of this week, we’ll be halfway through the month again - it’ll be Christmas soon. Scary.
I guess I’ll have to buy a tree.
But still, change!
Change is good.
Change is scary. Change can be upheaving. Change can be risky.
But ultimately, change is good.
Without change, you can’t grow.
Here ends another ramble.
I should really start posting here more.
